| Gilnochi Maine Coons |
Last September I lost my 20 year old Siamese, Skyler. Actually a few months before that I lost my 21 year old Maine Coon mix,
Daisey. I vowed I would have no more cats after that. But several months later it was just too quiet even with 4 Gordon Setters
running around, so the search began.
The cat of choice amongst setter owners seemed to be the Maine Coon. I was lucky enough to find a breeder here in town and after
visiting with Brenda and her lovely cats, my first Maine Coon kitten came here to live.
Several months later I learned of a boy who needed a new home. So in came another gorgeous MC!
I figured that since Annie would be shown and bred I needed a cattery name. Of course my first choice was Gilnockie like my kennel.
Boy was I surprised to find that Gilnockie is being used by a Scottish Fold cattery in Georgia. The next best thing was a variation on
the spelling and Gilnochi was born!
